Call Trace is a service available to all students living in North and South Campus residence halls and apartments and administrative telephones on campus. Call trace helps the University community deal with harassing, obscene and/or annoying telephone calls by providing Caller ID information about the call. It also helps the Department of Public Safety put an end to these types of calls.
After receiving a nuisance call, please follow these steps:

Once we receive your complaint, a public safety officer will respond to your location to investigate the incident. If you file a report, the NYNEX Annoyance Bureau will provide the CALL TRACE information to the Department of Public Safety.
NYNEX assess a $1.50 charge* to your phone bill for each successful trace.
