Bullet Notification of an Armed Robbery

February 20, 2007 (Date Issued: 2/20/07; SPD #2007-153715)

WHEN: Tuesday, 2/20/07 at 1:30 PM

WHERE: Stadium Place parking lot

HOW: An employee of the Veterans Administration Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, who had just exited his vehicle, was approached by an unkonwn man. The suspect exhibited a handgun, demanded money from the victim's wallet, and ran away in a westerly direction towards Almond Street. The victim left the area and reported the robbery approximately two hours later.

The victim described the suspect as: male, black, early 30’s, approximately 5’11”, medium build, 170-180 pounds, medium skin tone, last seen wearing: a dark colored winter watch cap, dark puffy coat, white sneakers with predominant orange highlights, carried black handgun.
