Notification of an Attempted Larceny

WHEN: Wednesday, 1/24/07 at 9:05 PM

WHERE: 100 Standart Street

HOW: A student reported that as she walked along the 100 block of Standart St. at approximately 9:05 pm last evening she was accosted from behind by an unknown male.   The male grabbed the victim’s shoulder bag and searched it for money. The suspect then threw the bag and contents back at the victim, and made several derogatory remarks as he forced her to touch him in a sexual manner. The suspect then fled the scene without obtaining any personal property from the victim. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.

The victim described the suspect as: male, white, 20’s, 5’9” to 5’11”, medium build, wearing a black puffy coat with the hood up, and light colored blue jeans.
