Notification of an Armed Robbery

WHEN: Friday, 11/17/06 at 8:15 PM

WHERE: 500 Walnut Avenue

HOW: A student reported that as he was walking alone in the 500 block of Walnut Ave. he was approached from behind by two males. One of the males displayed a handgun and threatened the victim. Suspects then walked the victim to a lot on E. Genesee St. where they stole cash and a cell phone. Victim was not injured during the robbery. Suspects were last seen running in an easterly direction from the 1200 block of E. Genesee St.

The victim described the suspects as:

#1 male, black, light complexion, clean shaven, large build, 25-35 yrs., 6’ tall, wearing a long, green jacket with a fur hood, dark pants, carrying a black handgun

#2 male, black, medium complexion, thin build, with a scruffy beard, 25-30 yrs., 5’10” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and a dark colored baseball cap.
