Notification of Arrest in Attempted Robbery

Arrests were made today in connection with the attempted robbery that occurred on 9-11-06 at the corner of Comstock Avenue and Waverly Avenue. Syracuse Police charged two adults and two juveniles with felonies for their roles in the crime. It is important to note that these arrests would not likely have been made without the cooperation and detailed information obtained from the victim and witnesses to the incident. Community members utilized various means of communication available to them to provide information to the Department of Public Safety, including the “Silent Witness” program. The victim and witnesses worked closely with investigators from DPS and the Syracuse Police to identify the suspects.
