Notification of an Armed Robbery

WHEN: Sunday, 8/20/06 at 1:50 AM

WHERE: 100 block of Euclid Avenue

HOW: As two students were walking along Euclid Ave. a vehicle stopped, and a passenger asked if they had a light. The students approached the vehicle, and handed the passenger a lighter. The passenger then exited the vehicle brandishing a handgun, and demanded their wallets. Victims surrendered their personal property without incident. The suspect then got back in the vehicle, and fled the scene in an easterly direction.

Victims described suspects as: #1 - male, black, thin build, early 20’s, 5’ 8” tall, 165 lbs., last seen wearing: red ball cap with a flat brim, and a red loose fitting jersey; #2 the driver male, black, early 20’s, wearing a white t-shirt. Suspect vehicle was described as an older model four door sedan, light colored or possibly maroon.
