Notification of an Armed Robbery

WHEN: Friday, 8/18/06 at 10:45 PM

WHERE: 335 Comstock Avenue

HOW: A male brandishing a handgun approached two students in the rear parking lot at the above address, and demanded they empty their pockets. The victims cooperated, and the suspect made off with a wallet, and a cell phone. The suspect ran to a vehicle waiting for him in the 1300 blk. of E. Adams St. The suspect vehicle was last seen heading south on Ostrom Ave.

Suspects were described as: #1 - male, black, medium build, early to mid 20’s , 5’ 8” to 6’ tall, last seen wearing: a red NY ball cap, a red t-shirt, tan shorts, and sneakers: #2 - the driver, male, black, wearing a light colored t-shirt and light colored ball cap. The suspect vehicle was described as four door model, tan or maroon in color, possibly a Toyota – Camry.
