Notification of an Abduction & Sexual Assault

February 4, 2006 (Date Issued: 2/07/06; DPS #2006-00004711 / SPD #2006-135592)

WHEN: Friday night / Saturday morning, 2/4/06 , between 1:45 am and 2:30 am

WHERE: Marshall Street & Comstock Avenue

HOW: as a student walked eastward to the corner of Marshall St. and Comstock Ave., two men in a black SUV forced her into the vehicle and drove to an unidentified house. After sexually assaulting her, the men dropped her off in the Marshall St/Ostrom Ave area. The victim sought medical attention and later notified the Syracuse Police Department, which informed SU’s Department of Public Safety. An anonymous report was also filed with DPS.

Description of suspect #1: male; black; 20-25 yrs old; 5’8”- 6’ tall; medium, athletic build; thin face; light complexion; wore pink button-up shirt.

Description of suspect #2: male; black; 20-25 yrs old; large, overweight build; unkempt; wore gray, zipped, hooded sweatshirt and gray knit hat.

Description of vehicle: black, GMC style SUV
