Notification of a Harrassment

December 8, 2005 (Date Issued: 12/08/05; DPS #2005-41962 / SPD #2005-476292)

WHEN: Wednesday night / Thursday morning, 12/8/05 , approximately 12:30 am

WHERE: 700 Block of Ostrom Avenue

HOW: an unknown man drove his van alongside a student on foot to ask if she needed a ride. He then exited the van and grabbed her arm to ask if she wanted to make some money. The victim pulled away and ran to a nearby office. She was not hurt . The suspect drove north on Ostrom. DPS and SPD searched the area with negative results.

Description of suspect #1: male; white or possibly Hispanic; 25-30 yrs old; approx. 5’10” tall; black buzz cut; wore tan jacket.

Description of vehicle: navy blue conversion van w/ rear silver ladder, NY plates.
