Free Self Defense Classes Offered this Spring

DPS is offering free four-session self-defense classes this spring from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The first session will be held on Mondays, February 15, 22, March 1 and 8, 2010 at the Ernie Davis Exercise Studio. MLK Dinner
Major Grant Williams Remembered at 25th Annual MLK Celebration

The late Grant Williams, Jr. was remembered Sunday night at a ceremony celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King. Major Williams, who passed away on November 27, 2009 after a long illness, was the assistant director for crime prevention and community relations with the Department of Public Safety and a founding member of the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee at the University.
