Move-In Begins Wednesday, August 20

The Department of Public Safety will be on hand to direct traffic, answer questions, and take move-in passes as cars line up to move in at campus residence halls. Please check out the Office of First Year and Transfer Programs "Ready Set" website for further information. We'll see you soon!

Welcome to New and Incoming Students! We can't wait to meet you.

While we hope we meet in a situation totally unrelated to disciplinary or safety issues, we want you to know that we're excited you're coming to Syracuse University! Feel free to call us at 315-443-1427 during business hours or email us at if you have questions or concerns as you prepare for the move to SU! Check out our Crime Prevention info and Safety Guidelines to make sure your time here is crime-free!

Know Where to Go for Help

The Counseling Center is now the primary point of entry for students impacted by sexual violence seeking privileged (i.e. totally private, between a student and their counselor) assistance on campus. This is a change from the services which were based in the Advocacy Center, which were confidential - meaning that reporting was still mandatory between University offices and on public reports, including information like location and time of the incident. Click here for more information on this realignment of services, and as always, if you would like to speak to law enforcement regarding sexual or relationship violence, call us 24/7 at 315-443-2224.
